The simple answer its up to your budget. Generally we spec out software systems in full but are able to scale back certain features or take certain shortcuts to still hit a price target. This is not always possible or practical but many times we can build some advanced functions in very reasonable budgets. Some major factors that can affect budgets are:

1. Are you building the system for yourself or for sale to other companies.

2. How complex are the systems primary functions

3. Is there any proprietary hardware needed to interface with

Depending on your industry you may also be eligible for government assistance research grants to help afford some of the development costs. Ask us more about this when we speak.

This depends on the complexity of the project. We build all software in phases so each phase has a timeline target of a few weeks or a few months. The nice thing is we will always post our work as it is complete so you can continually be up to date and audit the system as it is being assembled.

We are very transparent when building software and have worked with many start-ups so we like to keep our updates frequent and take feedback very seriously.

Our projects are broken up into phases. Each phase has certain criteria that needs to be completed, a time estimate and a cost attached. Depending on the size of project most small systems only need one or two phases.

Some of our multi-year project can have over 15 phases. It really just depends on how large the system is and how the work needs to be broken up.
