Project summary

Kastom Media collaborated with BMW Finance to develop a state-of-the-art digital touch kiosk, aimed at modernizing and improving customer experience. This digital interface provided a one-stop-shop for potential customers, offering in-depth information about BMW vehicles – from specifications to leasing and financing details, along with engaging visuals like videos and images. Our goal was to offer a more sustainable and efficient solution to replace conventional paper spec sheets.

The Strategy

The foundation of this project was to offer an immersive experience for customers while providing all essential details about BMW vehicles at their fingertips. We leveraged our knowledge on SaaS technology and digital hardware to design a cutting-edge kiosk that was not only user-friendly but neatly presented a plethora of information. Breaking down multifaceted aspects of a car purchasing process, the touch kiosk offered leasing, financing options from BMW Finance, and warranty details alongside engaging interactive brochure that potential buyers could enjoy.

To ensure real-time accuracy, information was directly pulled from CDK Global – BMW’s inventory management system. Furthermore, the system was designed to be easily updated with new vehicle data as it became available, thus ensuring its longer-term viability. The integration of various digital assets, coupled with significant workflow optimizations, resulted in a customer-facing tool that was as engaging as it was informative. As an added bonus, by eliminating the need for printed spec sheets, this project also positively impacted on BMW’s sustainability efforts.
